We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition (TA) Partner - Full Time Contractor (12 Month Duration) to join our North America (NA) Team. Reporting into a Talent Acquisition Lead in NA, you will have autonomy over hiring for research engineering and science across Google DeepMind, and will closely collaborate with our wider TA team, based across both North America and London.
You’ll work in partnership with business leaders to improve our efforts in attracting and securing outstanding talent who we need to solve our mission. You’ll do this while ensuring our process and candidate experience is fair, positive and meaningful for all.

The Role:
Key responsibilities:
- Operate as a full-life cycle recruiter driving end-to-end talent acquisition across a number of critical GDM businesses in North America, with a focus on Research Scientist and Research Engineer roles.
- Confidently navigate the offer process, leveraging expertise to close top tier global AI talent
- Identify gaps in recruiting processes and develop solutions that enable the business to seamlessly engage with and hire key talent.
- Act as a strategic partner to the business, providing proactive, data-backed updates and insights to ensure alignment and drive effective hiring decisions.
- Represent GDM at external events to strengthen relationships, promote our brand and engage with candidates.
- Develop and maintain talent acquisition strategies tailored to the North American market, including employer branding initiatives, and market-specific analysis
About You
To set you up for success in Talent Acquisition at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:
- Experienced talent acquisition partner with a proven track record of end to end hiring across a broad range of technical roles in the US market.
- Expertly manage the end-to-end hiring process, with specialist knowledge of navigating the complex offer process to secure top talent in the dynamic global AI market.
- A thought partner to the business, offering a consultative approach, ensuring hiring is fair and equitable.
- Interested in AI and Technology, wanting to contribute to GDM’s mission in a pioneering and responsible way while leveraging AI tools effectively and responsibly to recruit.
- Demonstrated understanding of how to successfully recognize and advocate for talent.
- Experience developing new processes and workflows, specifically related to hiring in the US tech market
- Strong domain knowledge and expertise in AI/ML/Research talent acquisition
- Demonstrated success operating in unstructured and ambiguous environments.
- Track record of designing strategy and delivering impact for a client
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $131 - $192,000 + bonus + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
