About the position:

Definitive Healthcare is building a market-leading digital audience business that enables healthcare brands, agencies, and platforms to activate high-quality HCP and consumer (DTC) audiences across the AdTech ecosystem. We are hiring a Platform Partnerships Director to own our platform partner relationships and grow the revenue that flows through them.

This role is the bridge between our data and the platforms where it is activated. You will manage and grow relationships with DSPs, SSPs, data marketplaces, curation platforms, and identity providers - keeping our audiences live and performing, signing the right new partners, and collaborating on healthcare solutions (curated deals, packaged offerings, co-developed products) that differentiate Definitive Healthcare in market. You will also be the market's voice back into Product: what partners are asking for, which audiences are being used, and where demand is growing.

Reporting into the AVP, Digital Sales, this is a highly cross-functional role working with Product, Data Science, Data Engineering, Sales, Operations, and external AdTech platform partners.

What you’ll do:

Partner Management & New Partner Development

  • Own the day-to-day relationship with existing platform partners (e.g. LiveRamp, DSPs, marketplaces, social platforms), maintaining consistent contact and serving as their commercial point of contact.
  • Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and sign new distribution partners, prioritizing those that expand reach into the audiences buyers actually want.
  • Resolve partner-facing issues with audience delivery, match rates, and distribution.
  • Stay current on privacy, regulatory, and platform compliance requirements - healthcare data considerations, platform policies, NAI/DAA frameworks - and advise teams on what is commercially viable.

Integration with Product & Engineering

  • Oversee the integration process end to end for each partner, from technical specs through to audiences live and performing in market.
  • Represent commercial and business requirements as Product, Data Engineering, and Operations define onboarding, mapping, and maintenance of audiences across platforms.
  • Advise on naming conventions and platform mappings so audiences are positioned clearly for buyers.

Revenue & Commercial Performance

  • Own revenue performance by partner: track what each channel earns, flag underperformance, and act on it.
  • Drive revenue growth through partner education - training partner seller teams on our audiences, use cases, and differentiation.
  • Build the positioning, enablement materials, and go-to-market messaging partners need to sell our data, working with marketing and sales.
  • Monitor partner commercial health and contract terms, escalating risks and surfacing expansion opportunities early.

Market Intelligence into Product

  • Track which audiences are being used, by whom, and where demand is growing, and feed that back to Product as a regular, structured input.
  • Synthesize partner, buyer, and sales feedback on data quality, freshness, and coverage into clear direction for the teams building products.
  • Bring market and competitive intelligence to the evolution of our audience taxonomy (specialty, clinical area, intent, demographics, behaviors).
  • Pressure-test new audience concepts against market demand, partner appetite, and competitive positioning, and advise on roadmap prioritization based on commercial impact.

What you'll need:

  • 5-8 years of experience in AdTech, Martech, or digital audience/marketing, including direct ownership of platform or data partnerships.
  • Track record of signing new partners and growing revenue through existing ones, including commercial negotiation.
  • Working knowledge of the commercial models for launching data or audience products into third-party marketplaces and partner platforms (DSPs, data marketplaces, onboarding environments, clean rooms).
  • Understanding of programmatic advertising, audience taxonomy, and onboarding workflows sufficient to advise and influence the teams building these products.
  • Comfort partnering with product, data engineering, and data science teams - translating market and commercial insight into product direction, without owning the build.
  • Strong commercial instincts, with the ability to interpret market signals, partner feedback, and performance data to inform strategy.
  • High bias for action, strong relationship-builder, curious, organized, and eager to grow in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $152,600 – $229,600 per year, which represents the base pay the company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role. Actual compensation will depend on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. All employees receive standard benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible paid time off, and participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with employer contribution.
