Role Overview:
As a People Experience Generalist, you will help lead and manage operational and employee experience processes focussing on our international workforce, within APAC & EMEA. You will ensure seamless people processes across the employee lifecycle, support compliance, and enhance employee engagement through efficient operations and program management. Your primary responsibilities will involve collaborating with the People Team Leadership on exciting new initiatives, driving improvements in HR systems & processes, and maintaining a positive employee experience in our fast paced environment.
While the primary focus of this role will be on the India region, it is intended that this role will grow into a global specialist, with the expectation of expanding coverage to additional regions, including EMEA within 6 months of starting the role.
Day In The Life:
- Streamlining People Operations: Support the design and lead improvements in global HR processes ensuring smooth employee experiences, HR administration and overseeing compliance with regional laws for APAC and EMEA.
- Managing Employee Lifecycle: Ownership of onboarding & offboarding, leave management, focusing on the APAC & EMEA region.
Benefits Management: Take ownership of the administration of benefits globally.
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure HR policies meet local legal requirements, particularly in APAC, while adapting global policies to regional needs.
- Employee Support: Provide prompt, high-quality responses to employee inquiries within APAC and manage sensitive data with confidentiality.
- Office & Culture: Lead workspace management and initiatives to enhance the in-office experience for Bangalore-based employees and support culture-building efforts.
What Sets You Apart:
- 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or similar roles, with international experience and a strong focus on the APAC Region. EMEA region is desirable, however training will be provided.
- Experience managing HR initiatives in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with a strong ability to deal with ambiguity and change.
- A proactive problem solver with attention to detail, resourceful, and a self-starter.
- A willingness to learn international compliance and HR best practices.
- Adaptable and thrive in dynamic, ever-changing environments
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial or start-up environment, particularly in managing global people operations.
- A strong desire to grow into a true global expert covering all aspects of People Operations.
