You Are: 

You are an experienced and dynamic CloudOps Manager with a proven track record in managing cloud infrastructure and leading teams to success.

You thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and are passionate about leveraging cloud technologies to drive business outcomes. With a comprehensive understanding of cloud platforms like Azure, GCP, and AWS, you are adept at ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments.

Key Skills

• Manage, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure across Azure, and GCP.

• Lead a team of CloudOps engineers, ensuring smooth 24x7 operations and driving team performance.

• Work closely with internal development and engineering teams to track issues, implement enhancements, and ensure alignment of cloud operations with business goals.

• Implement processes and automation for incident detection, response, and resolution to minimize downtime.

• Drive automation initiatives to improve deployment pipelines, monitoring systems, and operational efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and best practices, including data protection and governance.

• Oversee changes in the operations environment, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.

• Regularly publish support metrics to track team performance and service levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the seamless delivery and optimization of cloud-based services, contributing to high availability and reliability.

• Lead and mentor a team of CloudOps engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Enhance collaboration between cloud operations and other internal teams, aligning operations with business goals.

• Improve customer satisfaction by quickly addressing customer feedback.

• Implement and refine incident response procedures, reducing downtime and enhancing service reliability.

• Drive automation and optimization efforts, increasing operational efficiency and reducing manual intervention.

• Ensure compliance with security standards, safeguarding our cloud environments and customer data.

• Provide valuable insights through regular metrics publication, supporting data-driven decision-making.

What You’ll Need:

• 7+ years of experience in cloud operations, including 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Strong expertise in Azure, GCP. and/or AWS Multi-cloud experience is a plus.

• Hands-on experience with cloud services, infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and CI/CD pipelines. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including development, engineering, and customer success groups.

• Proficiency in tools like Datadog, Grafana, Splunk, or similar for monitoring and automation.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex cloud-based systems.

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are highly desirable.

Who You Are:

• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

• Experience with hybrid cloud environments. • Understanding of ITIL frameworks and service management processes.

• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).

• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. 

Compensation

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The total pay range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
