Purpose of Job:
We are looking for a highly talented Marketing Director. This role, reporting to the GM, is a great opportunity to become a critical member of a rapidly growing, publicly listed technology business. You will own our marketing strategy, driving growth through promotions, brand and partnerships.
Main Responsibilities:
- Own the national marketing strategy and budget
- Work closely with the GM and functional leaders to develop hyper local strategies.
- Lead teams that manage CRM, social, content, affiliates, paid and organic digital, events, sponsorships, partnerships, ATL, consumer PR, and all other brand initiatives etc.
- Lead development, deployment, and monitoring of detailed annual marketing plans
- Analyze and report on ROI of marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Liaise with central leads including brand, promos and performance teams in London for ongoing initiatives
- Lead a team of marketing managers and individual contributors
Requirements
The ideal candidate would have the following experience:
- 10+ years marketing experience, both online and offline
- Experience in leading teams
- Exhibit high degrees of creativity to support ideation of marketing campaigns that appeal to a diverse range of customers across the UAE
- Display high levels of analytical horsepower: being numbers driven is key as you need to look at weekly news and return customer metrics to decide on appropriate marketing initiatives and budget allocation
- Proven ability to successfully develop and execute major multi-channel marketing campaigns and develop brand strategies
- Experience in a high growth consumer-oriented startup is a plus
