Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced consulting leader to join our growing consulting team based in the Asia Pacific region. We are looking for colleagues with deep experience in either government and/or consulting who are looking to form meaningful partnerships to deliver impactful projects across the region.
As a Project Leader, you’ll lead consulting teams working with our cross-sectoral clients to support on-the-ground delivery of project priorities. In this role, you will also support our teams as we grow our work across Asia-Pacific, bringing a sharp and data-informed analytical problem-solving skill set in addition to program management experience.
You will enhance policy outcomes by formulating and testing recommendations, supporting improved decision-making at senior government levels: mayors, prime ministers, and presidents.
Project Leaders receive excellent training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from peers and experts. We offer our Project Leaders pathways to grow across client engagement, complex problem solving, team leadership and area-specific expertise.
Key Responsibilities.
- Work with governments, philanthropies and other funders, engaging senior leaders in public sectors on their most complex challenges by building capabilities for delivering priority projects and informing data-driven decision-making with our core tools and methodologies.
- Lead and drive impact for our clients across multiple workstreams including day-to-day execution of projects while guiding and coaching client teams to deliver and sustain concrete results.
- Facilitate problem-solving, collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement across silos.
- Lead development of high-quality presentations, reports, and engagement pieces for the client and the leadership of Delivery Associates.
- Lead interactive workshops with stakeholders and deliver high-quality training sessions to groups of trainees.
- Take ownership in building internal assets, including business development, recruitment, IP development, etc.
- Coaching and performance management of Delivery Leaders.

Required Skills/Experiences:
- Educational background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in relevant field. Requisite years of professional experience will also be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Professional experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in the public sector, at consulting firms or international organizations with demonstrable client-facing delivery
- Team leadership/Project management: Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and/or programme management experience
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with business-level English proficiency.
- Authorization + location requirements: Right to work in Australia or New Zealand, candidates located in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth preferred.
