Overview
Working with governments, foundations, and public sector partners to turn big ideas into real impact on projects within our Measurement & Evaluation practice.

About Delivery Associates

Delivery Associates (DA) is a global social impact consultancy specializing in transforming the public sector. With over a decade of experience and a foundation in Deliverology®, DA guides leaders through every phase of implementation—delivery-oriented strategy formulation, execution, and evaluation. DA partners with governments, philanthropies, and international organizations, employing actionable strategies to achieve sustainable, lasting outcomes. In every one of our services you will find a throughline back to this focus on helping our partners to deliver better results through better implementation. We are a small but global remote organization focused on scaling impact around the world.

Job Description

In our Measurement & Evaluation work, that means supporting public sector partners (government, philanthropy and non-profits) to understand what’s working and improve their programs. We work with leaders in the public sector (government, philanthropy, non-profits) to define their theory of change, build and operate systems for collecting the right data, and assess and evaluate programs to generate evidence that will drive greater impact in their work. As an Associate, you’ll contribute by cleaning and analyzing data, creating visuals, conducting research, and clearly communicating insights—all to generate evidence that drives greater impact.

Skill sets.

We work closely in diverse, global teams, leaning on each other’s strengths. We don’t expect any one person to do all these things perfectly. Our teams are made up of people who can:

  • Collect, store, clean, transform and conduct quality checks to ensure data is accurate for analysis
  • Analyze data to extract actionable insights and recommendations and visualize it for decision making.
  • Model data to identify patterns and forecast future trends: Utilize advanced analytical and statistical techniques and tools to reveal relationships within datasets, enabling prediction of outcomes and informed decision-making
  • Write, visualize and communicate clearly: Turn complex problems or insights into clear memos and well-structured slides; speak clearly and concisely in remote and in-person settings. Be able to simplify complexity, translating technical language into digestible narratives that enable great decision making of different audiences.
  • Work effectively on fast-moving projects: Bring clear structure and planning to day-to-day work and communication.
  • Solve problems: Break down problems and identify root causes before developing hypotheses and solutions.
  • Stay focused: Navigate complexity, especially in policy and program implementation, consistently steering large coalitions back to a single-minded focus on priority outcomes.

Mindsets.

We work well with people that are:

  • Adaptable: Public sector work is dynamic. Our people are, too.
  • Analytical: We identify, dissect, and solve complex problems.
  • Accountable: We are a remote team. We work collaboratively but self-sufficiently; oversight is often minimal.
  • Driven: Our work is important, so it’s important we do it well.
  • Curious: We never stop learning from our clients, colleagues, and partners.

Experience.

Many of our people have backgrounds in management consulting, public sector implementation, government, philanthropy, non-profits, think tanks / policy research, and international development. Some come from startups and tech.

But we’ve done this long enough to know that what matters most is your skill set and your mindset. We’re open to lots of backgrounds as long as you can show us you’re an analytical thinker, a clear communicator, a team player, and an avid learner.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant, full time work experience in analytics, data science, economics, and/or program evaluation; government, consulting, public policy, or tech ideal.
  • Quantitative analysis skills, demonstrated experience with statistics, econometrics and/or data science techniques and practices
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets required; experience with programming/econometrics software (Stata, R, Python)  preferred; knowledge of visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI), a plus.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing solutions, big data, machine learning and/or the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools for data processing
  • Business-level English skills
  • Must be based in and have work authorization in the United States. Delivery Associates will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

What We Offer.

  • Meaningful work that contributes to solving complex social challenges around the world
  • Ongoing learning and growth through mentorship, formal training, and leadership opportunities over time
  • Opportunity to be part of a growing team working on transformative projects in all continents
  • Opportunity to shape the future trajectory of a fast-growing firm and grow with it
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • Opportunities for travel

Our Values.

These values serve as an anchor, enabling us to stay true to who we are and what we stand for.

  • Passion: It is all about impact.
  • Excellence: Delivering to the highest standards.
  • Humility: Pride without ego.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
