About the Role: 

Demandbase is looking for an enthusiastic, data-driven researcher who can work with an enormous data set which has millions of records. You will get an opportunity to work alongside a great team of editorial analysts to evaluate data and implement smarter techniques to validate, analyze, improve and grow content. You will use your analytical and problem solving skills in a fast-paced agile environment to push data quality to new levels.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Collate, research and analyze data based on an understanding of search tools sources of business information 
  • Apply knowledge and problem solving skills in handling data related queries and issues
  • Maintain SLAs around user and system flagged records and customer support request 
  • Assist with special content editorial projects 
  • Understand editorial processes, workflows and policies/ guidelines 
  • Improve overall data quality by performing quality checks on data 
  • Identify data coverage gaps and research on prospective solutions 
  • Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports 

What we're looking for: 

  • In view of the current remote work environment, must be willing and be able to work from home with a reliable internet connection and a distraction-free environment 
  • Being able to communicate their thoughts and understand clearly what is being told Detail-oriented analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Self-organized and self-driven 
  • Quick learner, passionate about learning new things and has strong opinions Result-oriented and receptive to constructive feedback 
  • Excellent Team player and comfortable using collaborative tools via instant message application and video/audio call 

Skills & Education: 

  • Understanding of financial markets; Interpreting financial reports 
  • Expert in Excel and any reporting tool 
  • Experience in company and contact profiling 
  • Experience in data analysis, management consulting or business research Basic understanding of information sciences, databases and search tools 
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and internet tools 
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Management / Commerce / Finance / Economics or equivalent 

Experience: 2 - 4 years of work experience as analyst or researcher
