About the Team

 

Your new team is responsible for all things brand, communications, content, and creative, powering the Demandbase brand experience and driving inbound, engagement, and pipeline by consistently producing high quality, value-based creative content. The team also serves as an in-house agency that collaborates, creates, and delivers compelling campaigns, programs, and customer experiences. Through earned and owned media channels, the team strengthens Demandbase's position as the only account-based GTM platform designed to radically align sales and marketing teams.  

 

About the Role 

We are looking for a brand and communications leader with demonstrated experience building, optimizing, and scaling high performance brand marketing and strategic communication programs. This role will lead brand building, public relations, executive communications and thought leadership. 

As a strategic leader and key member of the marketing team, you will drive our differentiated story in the market, value proposition, and messaging, ensuring it resonates with target audiences and aligns with business objectives. You are adept at conducting market research and collaborating directly with business unit leaders to define unique positioning for our service offerings to bring them to market. 

You’ll combine that work with creative thinking and strategy to bring Demandbase to life through integrated brand campaigns that stand out from the competition, supercharge brand awareness, elevate our brand share of voice (SOV), and solidify our reputation as a market leader.

The base compensation range, not including company bonus, is: $166,000 - $220,000

You Will Be

  • Developing powerful brand narratives and refining the Demandbase brand strategy, including value proposition, positioning, and messaging, to differentiate the brand in a competitive market
  • Creating and executing high-impact, multi-channel brand awareness campaigns that increase visibility and drive growth in brand share of voice (SOV) across key markets
  • Defining our public relations and communications strategy and managing our agency partner relationship to drive paid, earned, shared, and owned results 
  • Working directly with business unit leaders to build unique narratives and incorporate new offerings and trends into brand positioning and campaigns, including go-to-market and sales materials
  • Collaborating with creative, content, digital, and executive teams to produce engaging brand assets that combine best-in-class written and visual storytelling, including digital content, thought leadership, videos, and social media
  • Leveraging data and market research to understand audience behavior, trends, and competitive positioning to inform and continue to evolve our brand strategy and service offerings
  • Overseeing brand consistency across all touchpoints, ensuring that all internal and external communications align with the brand guidelines and strategy
  • Establishing and tracking OKRs and KPIs for brand and comms performance, analyzing results, and adjusting strategies to achieve brand goals
  • Identifying and managing strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to amplify the Demandbase brand
  • Conducting ongoing brand health surveys and activating results through reputation management strategies 

 

You Must Have 

  • 5-7+ years of experience in strategic B2B marketing in a brand- and communications-centric role - bonus points if you have experience with content marketing
  • Proven track record of developing brand narratives and positioning and executing successful brand campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and growth
  • Demonstrated experience executing comprehensive communications strategy that is aligned with broader marketing and sales objectives 
  • Experience managing an agency, and overseeing all aspects of external communications including media relations, thought leadership, public relations, and executive visibility 
  • Media relations experience with a network on press and influencers 
  • Experience leading collaboration with leadership to build specific go-to-market positioning
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, including strong writing abilities and a deep understanding of visual narrative
  • Experience building brand architectures, positioning, and messaging frameworks 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, SEO, and paid media
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to make informed decisions
  • Creative thinking and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
