Technical Recruiter

Mountain View, CA

About the Role

DensityAI is building the AI accelerator silicon that powers the next generation of compute, from first silicon through scale-out. Our hardware team is growing quickly, and we're looking for a Technical Recruiter dedicated to hardware engineering hiring.

You'll be a strategic partner to hardware engineering leaders, running searches for deeply technical, hard-to-fill roles across silicon, packaging, and systems. You'll build the pipelines, process, and relationships that help us hire exceptional hardware talent quickly as we scale.

Location: Onsite in Mountain View, CA. This role requires working onsite at our Mountain View office.

What You'll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for hardware engineering roles, including RTL design, design verification (DV), physical design, silicon validation, packaging, PCB, thermal, mechanical, and systems engineering
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to scope roles, calibrate on talent, and run structured, efficient interview processes
  • Proactively source and build pipelines of passive hardware and semiconductor talent through networks, referrals, events, and direct outreach
  • Manage candidates in Greenhouse with rigor, keeping pipelines clean, data accurate, and stages moving
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience and represent DensityAI's mission and technical brand
  • Coordinate onsite interviews and work closely with interviewers and the recruiting team in our Mountain View office
  • Navigate work authorization and ITAR/export control considerations, partnering with our immigration and legal teams

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with a strong track record hiring hardware or semiconductor engineers
  • Working knowledge of hardware engineering disciplines (silicon design, verification, physical design, packaging, or systems) and the ability to speak credibly with engineers
  • Hands-on sourcing expertise (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, referrals, and networks) for passive, high-demand candidates
  • Experience with an ATS (Greenhouse strongly preferred)
  • A strong sense of urgency balanced with a high bar for candidate quality and experience
  • (Optional) Experience recruiting in a startup or high-growth environment, or familiarity with ITAR/export-controlled roles

Location

This is an onsite role based in Mountain View, CA. Candidates must be able to work from our Mountain View office.

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certifications.

California pay range

$150,000 - $175,000 USD

Compensation

Final offers depend on level, location, and skills relevant to the role. Additional compensation: equity grant per company guidelines; medical / dental / vision; 401(k); standard PTO.

Visa Sponsorship

DensityAI sponsors qualified candidates for H-1B, O-1, TN, E-3, and other employment-based visas, and we welcome applicants on F-1 OPT and STEM-OPT. Work authorization is required at start; we provide immigration support to secure or transfer status.

Export Controls

Aspects of this role may involve access to information subject to U.S. export controls (EAR/ITAR). We may discuss licensing or scope adjustments during the interview.
