Account Executive, DBS
Account Executive, DBS Position Summary:
The Account Executive, Dental Billing Services (DBS) finds and grows business with new potential clients. The person in this position also upsells to existing clients while successfully helping our current and potential clients to understand the value of our products and services against the unique needs of their own business.
What You’ll Do As Our Account Executive, DBS:
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals as set by management.
- Develop customer base to meet all sales forecasts and budgets.
- Continue to develop and leverage relationships with established clients and consultants.
- Maintain a high level of product and vendor knowledge, staying on top of our benefits and features and understanding how to negotiate or push our promotions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our competitors’ offerings.
- Make cold calls as needed.
- Successfully upsell and introduce new products or enhancements.
- May conduct client demonstrations on how to utilize our products and services.
- Track client appointments and arrange coverage when unavailable.
- May attend trade shows and association meetings.
- Consistently meet company and department policies and expectations including those surrounding attendance.
- Achieve and exceed company and departmental goals.
- Train and implement clients on DentalXChange products.
- Live DentalXChange’s company values: Actively Care, Try Hard, and Be Humble.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 5+ years of sales experience required which must include cross-selling and upselling experience.
- Proven experience in enterprise sales and consulting to Dental Service Organizations (DSOs).
- Expertise in navigating complex sales cycles and engaging with multiple stakeholders within enterprise accounts or DSOs.
- Must be comfortable making cold calls as needed.
- Health care industry sales experience required; Dental experience preferred.
- Proven skills in developing and building partner relationships and expanding product sales through distribution channels.
- Experience and knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management preferred.
- Superior business development, marketing and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in all MS Office applications and use of the internet.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Ability to successfully multitask with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of technical and procedural aspects and functions.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to work closely with other associates.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in all MS Office applications with the ability to develop reports and manipulate data in Excel.
- Ability to successfully multitask with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of technical and procedural aspects and functions.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Pay rate: $43.27 per hour, plus sales commission.
