We are excited to hire an Operations Assistant! The Operations Assistant is responsible for coordinating a variety of areas within the operations department. This position will assist with Training Camp, Facility Maintenance, Facility Operations, Special Events and Team Logistics.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Training Camp:
    • Assist with all day-to-day training camp operations
    • Work with the Director of Operations and Manager of Facility Services to manage the operations of hosting fans daily (i.e. parking, fan entry and departure)
    • Coordinate all set up and tear down for camp (signage, tents, parking, etc.)
    • Assist with the operations of the VIP Training Camp Experience
    • Assist with ADA parking and experience
    • Coordinate player meal check-ins
    • Assist with the management of Training Camp Interns
    • Assist with coordination of Training Camp Intern Projects
    • Provide exemplary customer service to drive guest satisfaction
    • Conduct systematic pre-practice inspections to ensure set-up requirements are completed and a positive, first-class presentation of the facility will take place
  • Facility Management: 
    • Assist with changing light bulbs
    • Assist with hanging pictures
    • Assist with break down / building office furniture
    • Assist with construction projects
    • Assist with master clock system
    • Assist with snow removal
    • Assist with general upkeep of all buildings
  • Facility Operations 
    • Supervise shipping and receiving program
    • Act as initial point of contact for special requests from players, coaches, & staff
    • Assist with day-to-day operations
    • Give tours to special guests
    • Assist with all facility vendors
    • Manage inventory, and procurement of paper and office supplies at the training facility
    • Assist with training and management of the season-long intern
    • Coordinate the janitorial inspection program
    • Coordinate the safety program for Facilities/Operations
  • Special Events:
    • Ensure proper set up and tear down for each event
    • Act as the day of event point of contact for some booked events
    • Assist with the booking and coordination of some events 
    • Manage and maintain the event supplies inventory
    • Provide assistance as needed by the Facility Events Coordinator
  • Team Logistics:
    • Home Game:
      • Assist at team hotel
      • Execute player and coach check-in at team hotel
      • Assist with all stadium parking passes and post-game passes for players, coaches and football staff
      • Conduct player check-in at stadium
      • Provide sideline support for coach-coach radio communication system
    • Team Travel: 
      • Assist with team departure 
      • Assist with any travel needs during the week
      • Assist with shipping medical supplies prior to away trips 
      • Manage supplies for weeklong trips 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 1+ years experience working in professional sports
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule, including long hours, weekends, evenings, and early mornings
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Have excellent communication skills and ability to follow directions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to carry out multiple tasks simultaneously and achieve results on a deadline
  • An eagerness to learn and contribute in multiple areas

Preferred Skills & Ability:

  • 3+ years experience working in professional sports
  • 3+ years experience in a facilities or operational roll

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this role is $42,000 - $47,600. This position will be required to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays outside of a normal working hours as needed. 

This position will be located at Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit in Englewood, CO.
