Senior Manager of Marketing

JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Manager of Marketing is responsible for the creation and planning of campaigns and initiatives to grow and engage Broncos Country locally, nationally and globally. This position leads collaboratively across the organization to meet the needs of the business and the brand. The Sr. Manager will help develop strategies to share the brand story, drive fan development, grow key audience categories, and deepen fandom and engagement through influencers, content creators, key events, campaigns, and programs.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Fan & Brand Growth

· Create a strategic vision and plans for growing fandom of key categories

· Oversee strategic marketing campaigns for key events and products, engaging current fans and introducing the brand to new audiences

· Execute new fan engagement concepts to ensure relevancy of the brand and provide monetization opportunities for the sponsorship, ticketing, and retail teams

Influencer / Content Creator Strategy

· Develop a strategic vision and plans for engaging current fans and welcoming new audiences through influencer and content creator collaborations

· In collaboration with the social media team, execute influencer strategies and program (content creator boxes, tours, etc) to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion

· Oversee influencer relationships and campaigns from outreach to reporting, year-round

Out-of-Market Fan Development

· Execute a strategic vision for out-of-market fans nationally and internationally, deepening connections with existing Fan Clubs and nurturing affinity

· Oversee event planning and execution of OOM and GMP initiatives, such as road game watch parties, international games, and League events

Global Markets Program

· In collaboration with league partners, develop and execute strategic vision for GMP, assessing long-term ROI and potential for expansion

· Oversee current GMP marketing efforts, identifying new opportunities for impact

Tentpole NFL Events

· Oversee involvement and activation around NFL tentpole events such as the NFL Draft and NFL Fan of the Year, ensuring alignment with department and organizational goals

Leadership

· Supervise and support direct reports

· Lead by example through collaboration amongst the greater marketing department, cross-departmentally, and externally

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· 6 years of experience in marketing, preferably focused on fan/customer growth, engagement, brand strategy, influencers, and/or product marketing

· 3 years of experience planning and executing events

· Demonstrated track record of executing multi-channel marketing campaigns with scale and impact

 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITY

· Previous experience developing and executing marketing strategy at a professional sports team, brand, or agency

· Highly collaborative, self-starter, adaptable, and organized in fast-moving environments

· Deep understanding of changing media environment, emerging technologies and platforms including digital/social channels

· Proven experience with content creation and dissemination

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills

· Fluency in Spanish is desired, not required

· Strategic thinker who combines creativity with analytical thoroughness

· Knowledge of the Denver Broncos and the NFL

· Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and available to work all Broncos home games

· Able to travel internationally as necessary

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary for this position is $80-95,000 annually.
