
Facilities Attendant

JOB SUMMARY: The Facility Attendant supports Operations/Facilities department by providing a safe, clean and sanitary environment at Broncos Park powered by Common Spirit. The upkeep of the bathrooms, offices, and common areas are a vital part of the daily duties. This position requires flexible shifts, which include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The majority of shifts are 9am-5:30pm Monday through Friday with evenings and weekends determined by the football schedule.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete all custodial services as directed by Operations and Facilities management
- Custodial Services – Office and common area cleaning, including trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, window cleaning, multi-surface cleaning, hard-surface floor cleaning and recycling
- Restrooms- cleaning including trash removal, fixtures, stocking supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing/cleaning toilets
- Clean and sanitize, breakrooms, and common touch areas
- Trash runs- carting trash and recycling to the compactor
- Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Inspections and Maintenance: Performance of regular inspections regarding cleanliness, safety and general appearance.
- Ensure that the facilities and environment are cleaned and maintained according to all applicable regulatory standards, and provides a safe sanitary environment for players, coaches, and staff
- Report maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel
- Monitor the use and inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Perform cleaning duties prior to, during, and after special events as directed by the Facilities Services Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in a custodial/janitorial role or equivalent combination of training and experience in a facilities related field
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays as needed
PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITY
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in a custodial/janitorial role or equivalent combination of training and experience in a facilities related field
- Bi-lingual – Fluent in English and Spanish
- Basic knowledge of Safety Data Sheets
- Holds any Janitorial/Custodial certifications
- Maintain a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays and early mornings
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow directions
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to change tasks or assignments outside of normal duties
- Ability to provide exemplary customer service
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to carry out multiple tasks simultaneously and achieve results on a deadline
- Knowledge of custodial procedures
- Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
- Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemicals
- Basic knowledge of safe use, maintenance, and storage of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected pay for this position is $43,000-$48,600 annually.
