JOB SUMMARY:

Install, troubleshoot, and make repairs to electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and systems within the stadium and site. Execute the set-up, support, and strike of all events throughout the stadium. Assist the Engineering department with basic maintenance and upkeep of the stadium.

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES: 

Maintains and repairs all electrical equipment and circuits at the stadium by:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing all electrical systems including wiring, electrical fixtures, and equipment within the facility.
  • Communicating with Electrical Supervisor on the parts and supplies needed to perform tasks in order to maintain adequate spare parts and supplies.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance work on electrical machinery and equipment.
  • Re-lamping and ballast replacement as required.
  • Performing new installations and retrofits.
  • Performing minor repairs of the fire alarm system and devices.

Supports all events at the stadium by:

  • Executing the set-up and strike of electrical needs for events.
  • Supporting stadium events as a representative of the Engineering department.
  • Work private and public events as assigned.

Contributes to department team effort by:

  • Operating forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, gators, and carts.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Available to support all Denver Broncos home games.
  • Assisting and supporting the Facilities department where needed.
  • Assisting the department with snow removal as needed.
  • Respond to onsite emergencies.

Completes administrative tasks of position by:

  • Utilizing stadium’s Computerized Maintenance Management System to document and track all work activities.
  • Utilizing the stadium’s Building Automation System to schedule lighting and HVAC requests.
  • Reporting any irregularities or damage to supervisor.
  • Assisting Electrical Supervisor in development of annual budget requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Electrical Journeyman License/Or ability to obtain within one year.
  • Familiar with PPE procedures, equipment, and techniques.
  • Familiar with lockout/tagout procedures and techniques.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, or other similar material handling and maintenance equipment.
  • Willing to work extended and/or irregular hours, including weekends and holidays when needed.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITY:

  • Accredited post-secondary vocational or technical school.
  • General knowledge of facility management/engineering/construction.
  • Technical skills with a focus on troubleshooting and
  • Strong work ethic, professionalism, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Works well in a team setting with the ability to adapt to department needs and organizational goals.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning abilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to maintain documentation.
  • Ability to use computers and computer software applications including Word Processing and Spreadsheet software.
  • Read, write and communicate English.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected pay for this position is $71,000-$81,000 annually.
