Strategy Manager

Job Summary: The Strategy Manager will be a key contributor within the Strategy & Business Intelligence organization, directly responsible for driving new strategic insights and processes. In this role, you'll partner closely with our Business Intelligence team to develop and execute the organization's critical strategic deliverables and support high-priority, high-visibility projects that deliver tangible, real-club impact.

A core focus of the role will be overseeing the Broncos' retail workstream, working hand-in-hand with the club’s third-party vendor to maximize fan engagement and revenue. The role will also play a key role supporting the Sponsorship team, helping transform complex data into actionable insights and compelling narratives that unlock the full value of our partnerships. 

Duties & Responsibilities

Business & Partnership Strategy:

  • Support strategy team in cross-functional strategic projects, such as procurement strategy, digital asset strategy, and contract renewals
  • Support ongoing new business and renewal discussions, creating negotiation strategies, deal scorecards, market research packs, etc.
  • Conduct research and create summary reports that identify and value new trends and assets for the Partnership team
  • Support pitch deck development, as needed, working with the Partnership Team to provide presentations with data-led insights
  • Support evaluation of ongoing Partnerships deal health and default risk

Retail Strategy & Food and Beverage Support:

  • Support development of retail strategy with e-commerce and in-stadium vendor, including buy strategy, pricing and promotions
  • Drive select Retail and F&B initiatives (holiday, pricing, etc)
  • Evaluate historical retail performance to identify areas of opportunity and additional activations to drive sales and fan experience
  • Support F&B workstream execution, including marketing activities, gameday support, etc.
  • Support reporting and insight development of Retail and Food & Beverage performance in partnership with Vendors and Business Intelligence

Business Planning & Performance Reporting:

  • Support annual planning and reporting process, working cross- functionally to draft and execute each fiscal year’s organizational business plan
  • Support business planning ancillary activities, including project managing dedicated working groups to evaluate specific spend efforts across the organization
  • Work with Broncos senior leadership to assess quarterly business performance and prepare QBR, to be presented out to Broncos senior staff & shared with ownership

Minimum Requirements:

  • Resume
  • Completed bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience at a top-tier consulting firm or recognized sports organization
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily PowerPoint and Excel

Preferred Skills & Ability:

  • Produce high-quality slide decks, financial models, and analytical memos with minimal guidance or supervision
  • Experience working with tableau and SQL preferred but not required
  • Experience in consulting, strategy, sports, or operations
  • Ability to partner with and communicate effectively with executives
  • Proven track record of collaborating cross-functionally to execute initiatives
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, solutions oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented with strong prioritization and organization skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Experience working under pressure

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is $122,000 - $145,000.
