This role is part of our Holding team based in the Netherlands. Our team is the driving force behind DEPT® composed of individuals who thrive on sales, business development, and fostering new opportunities. JOB PURPOSE
In this role, you will be responsible for on location IT Support Operations in the Netherlands with focus on the Amsterdam Office and wider local NL activities where required.
You will partner closely with the Netherlands (NL) office management 5 days a week and provide support for important office meetings and activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Local Support
- NL Office Support with focus on the Amsterdam office
- Setting standards for office support
- On location office work 5 days a week
- Support with key client meetings
- Ensuring new-joiner setups run smoothly
- Managing and overseeing local NL vendor relationships
- Managing and overseeing any required local projects
- Providing NL-wide assistance and technical support to users
- Generating regular reports on the status of IT initiatives, project progress, and performance metrics
- Analysing existing software applications and IT processes to identify opportunities for consolidation and standardisation
- Adhering to NL IT Budget & Ordering process
Global Support
- Coordinating project activities, allocating resources, and ensuring projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget
- Collaborating with the global team in translating global efforts into local practices
- With input from the Global IT team, overseeing the development, enhancement and integration of systems
- Contributing to Global IT team meetings and channels
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT engineering and supporting roles;Working proficiency in English ; Direct availability to start working in the Netherlands;
- Strong knowledge of IT software, hardware, networking and infrastructure concepts
- Advanced knowledge of both Windows & macOS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including hosting meetings, presentations and documentation
- Ability to analyse and optimise IT processes and implement solutions to improve efficiency
- Basic knowledge of the concepts of licensing, security and organization
- Motivation, excellent communication and teamwork
PLUS IF YOU HAVE
- Working proficiency in Dutch
- Experience with SaaS software like Google Workspace, O365, Slack, JAMF & Intune, and Atlassian
- Global IT experience or familiarity with multi-site operations
