DEPT®is seeking an experienced BOOMI Integration Engineer with strong issue resolution and problem-solving skills. The candidate should possess a good knowledge of BOOMI platform and be flexible in learning new tools. Working closely with the Integration architect on both internal and client projects, the candidate will manage the development lifecycle to ensure solutions are optimized and built to scale. Excellent communication abilities and great customer service practices are required.

DEPT®is an international company with offices and employees in many locations around the world. As such, there is a significant amount of work across time zones and differing cultures. The ability to work on distributed teams with customers from all regions of the world is essential.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand high-level expectations for new features & projects from the Integration architect and plan how to achieve them.
  • Demonstrate knowledge about event-driven systems, schema, orchestration, mapping, and exception handling.
  • Engage in Service Delivery concerning design, development, testing, and release to production.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define integration strategies for their projects.
  • Manage the development and support of batch and back-end processes related to the application portfolio.
  • Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Communicate project status to various levels of management.
  • Oversee the technology and standards for version control.
  • Utilise analytical abilities and negotiation skills.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 7 years of overall experience with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Boomi
  • Experience working with hybrid architecture
  • Good experience with other SaaS-based business applications is a plus (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Commerce Tools, ADP, BambooHR etc.)
  • Proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting in Boomi
  • Hands-on experience in working with JMS Queues
  • Ability to align business requirements with the capabilities of the Boomi platform
  • Experience in mapping, creating, and transforming XML, CSV, flat file, and data schemas for different systems
  • Record of strong advancement and achievement
  • Effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative team setting
  • Ambition and a can-do attitude
  • Creative problem solver who can think beyond the status quo
  • Working proficiency in English
