JOB PURPOSE:
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with your clients while overseeing the delivery of owned channel campaigns, with a focus on quality control across production rollout. You will be required to manage client briefs, plan, assign and review creative, and manage the overall agency workload in partnership with the rest of the team.
You will be working closely with Designers, Copywriters, Developers and other parts of the agency to ensure successful campaign deliveries; while maintaining agency profitability and a high level of creative integrity.
This role will report to the Client Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, draft and review client briefs
- Ensure client deadlines are met across multiple campaigns and liaise with the Client Director on the team capacity
- Prioritising workloads for the team, and escalating when needed
- Liaise with clients daily, clarifying questions, managing expectations and proactively communicating status, updates or agency recommendations
- Clearly and effectively distil and transfer client feedback to designers, copywriters and merchandisers
- Ensure client requirements are met whilst protecting DEPT brand values
- Maintain a full understanding of the client's business, strategies, objectives, brand, audiences, and challenges
- Ensure high standards are maintained and add value wherever possible
- Ensure success criteria are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Maintain a good knowledge of all DEPT products and services and actively promote them to clients
- Work with the team to determine and test creatives across client-owned channels to improve ways of working and drive efficiencies
- Improve ways of working between key clients & DEPT reviewing processes and ways of working often

YOU:
- 3-5 years experience within an account management or project management role, looking for the next step up
- Experience in production is a must
- Ability to self-educate, learn fast and work autonomously
- Understanding of data driven direct marketing including email best practise, customer segmentation, and onsite marketing.
- Ability to write detailed creative briefs
- Demonstrates flexibility and can effectively manage pressure in a fast paced, fast changing environment
- A creative and innovative approach
- Self-starter with plenty of initiative and drive
- Drives for results and demonstrates a can-do attitude
- Strong prioritisation skills, strategic thinking and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and achieve communications/marketing and customer goals
- Ability to network, build relationships and influence stakeholders upwards, downward and across teams
