This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team based in the Netherlands. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Gant, Inter Milan, bol.com and Just Eat Takeaway.

 

JOB PURPOSE

 

As a Technical Product Owner, you step into a project when the vision is set and it’s time to help the client with their next step: fast and sustainable execution. You’ll be the key link between the client and the teams we provide, ensuring that their business goals are clearly defined and understood. And finally, you help clients explore new business propositions and continuously improve their digital efforts based on research and data analyses.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the development, documentation and understanding of the project scope, objectives and technical feasibility involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to solution, develop and implement digital projects;
  • Define and documenting the clients business functions and processes while keeping an eye out for any process important opportunities;
  • Identify and report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product teams;
  • Stay on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer;
  • Requirements definition or clarification and writing/updating agile stories;
  • Support with backlog preparation and prioritization;
  • Participates in test case definition and user acceptance testing together with QA teams.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

  • 5+ years of experience;
  • Are passionate, smart and have endless love for digital;
  • Strong Communication and business writing skills;
  • Have completed a degree, preferably in Industrial Design, Business or IT;
  • Advanced knowledge of project management and agile methodologies;
  • Ability to interact across a range of stakeholders, from business executives to creatives, engineers, managers, SMEs and vendors;
  • Great organizer, facilitator and collaborator;
  • Working knowledge in the use of JIRA/Confluence;
  • Are fluent in English, Dutch is a plus;
  • IREB® Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering Foundation Level is a plus.
