About You
As a Motion Graphics Artist, you will be responsible for collaborating with the creative team on the execution of creative assets, from initial concept to final delivery. You have a precise eye for detail and are obsessed with organization and consistency across all deliverables. You have a firm understanding of the creative and technical aspects of motion graphics design, and can provide knowledge and feedback when needed. You are an ace at managing multiple projects and competing initiatives, even under the tightest of deadlines. A collaborative spirit, you have great communication skills and feel confident to speak up when you or anyone on your team needs support.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Building, resizing and applying localization to 2D animations in large quantities
for digital platforms - Organize, edit, and color grade video footage from various production shoots
- Ability to do light VFX work (object replacement, rotoscoping, matchmoving, etc..)
- Heeding guidance and constructive feedback from all members of the creative team
- Maintaining ownership and responsibility, including QA, throughout each project
- Keeping close communication with PMs to ensure all deliverables are on track
- Ensuring all final deliverables adhere to brand standards and production guidelines
- Keeping up to date on and adhering to digital best practices across different platforms
You’ll need to have:
- 3-5 years of production experience, preferably in an agency environment
- A portfolio showcasing production work on large campaigns
- Proficiency in 2D animation, primarily with Adobe After Effects
- Intermediate experience with audio/video production (editing, color grading, compression)
- Excellent retouching and proofreading skills (required)
- Excellent typography and layout skills with a meticulous eye for detail
- Strong written and verbal skills in both individual and group settings
- An ability to understand layout challenges of individual projects and work quickly
and independently to provide creative/technical solutions to problems - An adoption of 3Q creative team’s communication and project management tools
Proficiency in the following programs/tools:
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Premiere
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Audition
- Adobe XD, Sketch or Figma
- Adobe Acrobat
- Dropbox and Google Drive
- Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs)
- Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Additional things that will impress us:
- Character rigging/animation
- Knowledge of 3D Animation (Cinema 4D or Maya)
- Knowledge of “Element 3D”plugin
- Experience with Javascript or After Effects expressions
- Experience with Frame.io
- Experience using a D.A.M.
- Experience with project management tools
- Experience in a performance marketing agency a plus (not required)
Job Details:
- Schedule: 40 hrs/week
- ASAP - 8/29 (could extend)
- MUST have motion experience for social media
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $55-80/hr USD. The rate is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
