Senior SEO Consultant

This role is part of our Creative & Media team based in Copenhagen. Our team is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from Creatives, Influencer Marketers, Brand & Content Strategists to Account Managers, Programmatic and Marketing Automation Consultants. Together, we blend imaginative storytelling and performance-driven strategies with cutting-edge technology to create engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Netflix, Canva, Foot Locker, Philips & Biscoff. 

JOB PURPOSE

Our SEO team empowers clients to develop and grow their online businesses through organic search in all its shapes and forms. You will go beyond simply executing SEO tasks; you will function as a strategic advisor to our clients by understanding their needs, challenging their goals, assessing feasibility and proposing hands-on solutions.

This role requires SEO expertise, strategic planning skills, and a results-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate can manage and optimize SEO strategies and collaborate effectively. You are a critical and analytical thinker, both curious and creative, with a solid understanding of SEO and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Being end-responsible for the biggest clients and accounts the SEO team has;
• Delegating tasks to other SEO specialists in your client team: teamwork makes the dreamwork;
• Create long-term SEO strategies and work together with the members of the management team;
• Set up and create implementation plans, workflows for clients, but also on internal projects;
• Being an example of the SEO team members and creating a vision of where the SEO team should head towards to.
• Help junior/medior/senior colleagues grow during 1:1 buddy-sessions by answering their questions, giving feedback and set-up a plan.
• Thought leadership by promoting SEO internally at DEPT®, but also at clients to create a support base

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Extensive hands-on experience with SEO, preferably at a digital marketing agency;
• Are experienced with using SEO tooling like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, MOZ, Semrush etc.;
• Are looking forward to sharing your knowledge with less experienced people in the team, and pushing the SEO proposition within DEPT®;
• Have an excellent command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• Are analytical, technical, independent and have good communication skills.
