Brand & Campaign Strategist (Dutch Speaking)

This role is part of our Creative & Media team based in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Our team is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from Creatives, Influencer Marketers, Brand & Content Strategists to Account Managers, Programmatic and Marketing Automation Consultants. Together, we blend imaginative storytelling and performance-driven strategies with cutting-edge technology to create engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Netflix, Canva, Foot Locker, Philips & Biscoff. 

JOB PURPOSE

We’re looking for a strategist to join our Creative Strategy team based in Amsterdam or Rotterdam. Someone who wants to build brands in today’s fragmented creative world. A sharp thinker who can connect the dots between brand strategy and the way people behave, create, and consume. Let's say you’re equally interested in strategy research and scrolling, tapping, sharing, watching, skipping, posting, and noticing the way culture moves. You’ll help brands find their place in that chaos through strategic rigour. You’ll be working for local hero brands like Bol and international brands like Biscoff, Philips, Just Eat Takeaway and Netflix.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the Brand & Campaign Strategist is perfect for someone who can think big, foundational brand ideas, but also loves the messiness of the real world. Where attention is scarce, content is everywhere and a single TikTok can make or break a brand moment. 

  • Support client + creative teams across the business to develop strategies and ideas that answer our clients' briefs and exceed their expectations
  • Bring the audience into the agency, let their voice be heard to guide thinking.
  • Understand culture and harness it to shape the work 
  • Guide creative thinking across a range of campaign types, including but not limited to ATL, Digital and Social
  • Work in partnership with the creative teams, removing the barriers to creativity, and help guide them towards powerful, effective work.
  • Prove the effectiveness of campaigns 
  • Be able to engage top-tier clients when presenting, with strategies rooted in robust insights 
  • When required, participate in new business pitches

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 3–5 years of experience in strategy, content, creative, or brand marketing (agency or client-side)
  • A genuine interest and understanding in brands and how they’re built today – across social, digital, content, influencers, and beyond
  • Clear thinking, sharp writing, and great storytelling
  • A collaborative spirit – you work well with creatives, clients, and other strategists
  • A solid understanding & experience within social media marketing
  • Native Dutch (Or Flemish) speaker (and fluent in English)
  • A solid understanding of how to garner insights for action

Experience with or passion for social-first campaigns or creator marketing. A portfolio that shows how you’re thinking makes the creative stronger. An obsession with a cultural niche or internet rabbit hole (pls tell us about it).
