WHAT IS DEPT® STUDIO?

We’re a specialist team at the intersection of cost, speed, and quality - leading our clients into a pioneering future. We’re an agile interconnected global team partnering with the most ambitious enterprise clients, solving their content delivery challenges through implementing complex processes powered by industry leading proprietary technology. 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Director of Growth, focusing on developing opportunities for our DEPT® Studios service line. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the pitch process for new business leads in the North American market, developing executive-level relationships with clients, and collaborating with Studios’ team leadership to enhance our company's positioning. 

THE ROLE:

As part of the DEPT® Studios team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and acquiring new clients that are a fit with our commercial offering. You will be adept at presenting and selling in our capabilities, including content production at scale, creative automation, testing and optimization, and unlocking revenue growth for enterprise brands. A successful candidate will have expertise  with the Adobe platform and be able to sell in Adobe products and services to potential clients. 

To be successful in this role, it is imperative to have a curious, commercially focused mind. You must have a broad understanding of a range of industry verticals and the ability to develop go-to-market strategies demonstrating DEPT® Studios capabilities. A broad understanding of the entire agency sales funnel— from brand building, to performance tactics, to business development to sales— is important in this role, though primarily the role will be judged on bottom funnel performance, that is to say close rates and sales revenue generation.

You must be able to quickly build trust and rapport, ask the right questions, and bring a strategic approach to selling agency solutions. An entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action and problem-solving is necessary to be successful in this role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead pitch process for North America market including building pitch timelines, writing pitch briefings, setting pitch win strategies, contributing content for new client proposals and tender documents.
  • Promote Adobe and DEPT® Studios’ strategic partnership to potential clients. Adobe and DEPT® co-developed Studios as the model for enterprise content operations on Adobe's platform. Showcasing how this strategic partnership can provide the best platform for our clients to scale is an essential aspect of this role. 
  • Develop executive level relationships with clients that position DEPT® Studios as a strategic partner for current and future project / account work.
  • Collaborate with Studios leadership and other Growth teams within DEPT® to ensure that Studios’ differentiated positioning comes to life through case studies, PR, thought leadership content and other marketing material.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the business development process including qualification strategy, win strategy, pitch casting, usability and best practices in order to better win and deliver for clients, and enhance the DEPT® Studios customer experience.
  • Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 8+ years of agency sales, growth, or client services experience (or equivalent)
  • Experience selling agency services across a range of industries and verticals
  • Understanding of branding, creative, ecommerce, & engineering
  • Ability to collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop solutions that address client needs
  • Able to partner with clients to understand their growth needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business
  • Experienced in building relationships with C-suite executives (CTOs, CMOs, and CIOs) and business decision-makers
  • A self-starter attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate projects across multiple teams and functions
