Glaucoma Surgeon Opportunity- Gilbert, AZ

Desert Vista Eye Specialists is seeking a new ophthalmologist to join their ever-growing practice. With a new location, recently opening in January 2024 in Mesa, intentions of opening another satellite location in Tucson in 2025, and completing the build of our brand-new multi-OR ASC this practice and surrounding areas has seen significant growth with no-signs of slowing down. This is a wonderful opportunity to join an existing practice at a pace commensurate with your level of comfort.  This opportunity would include all aspects of medical and surgical ophthalmology with limited to no travel with the exception of surgical days.

Desert Vista Eye Specialists serves Phoenix, Mesa, Gilbert and all surrounding areas. Each provider has the benefit of a trained technical support team as well as scribe.  With each location seeking to add a comprehensive ophthalmologist and/or sub-specialty ophthalmologist, the location assigned is based on physician preference. Offering a 2-year ramp period, a physician liaison, and administrative support, we offer a great on-boarding experience and a patient volume at your most comfortable level, with support to grow. This opportunity is great for a provider starting in his career looking for mentorship, leadership, and skill building as well as the tenured confident physician, as patients are readily available.

Desert Vista Eye Specialists is an established practice, partnering with EyeCare Partners in 2020. EyeCare Partners is the leading ophthalmic network, uniting leaders from eye optometric and ophthalmic subspecialty. Providing a full spectrum of vision care with a mission to enhance vision, advanced eye care and improve lives. As a doctor-led organization, we embrace both clinical and academic pathways to a fulfilling career that includes teaching, clinical-trials, and working with data research scientists within the Eyecare Partners Innovation Center. This hybrid, or “third pathway” allows you to experience the best of both worlds from the start of your career. We’re not your traditional private equity organization. We are invested in the long term and fully committed to health of our patients, business, and industry. Private-equity backing allows our practices to benefit from investments in infrastructure and improved financial security to help support your practice and professional growth. Our 700+ locations, including 30+ ASC’s means you have opportunities to live and work in 18 states (and growing) throughout the U.S. while keeping autonomy and the private practice feel. EyeCare Partners is led by a Medical Executive Board and 16 committees that any physician within can participate in. Committees include but not limited too Technology & Innovation, Practice Operations, Physician Recruitment & Career Innovation, Mentorship & Leadership and Clinical Quality.

In partnership with EyeCare Partners, this opportunity allows for a great compensation package with a 2 year guaranteed salary and a generous production model. Providing amazing company culture, work-life balance, working with the best and largest ophthalmic network, in a destination area with endless recreational activities, we are excited to welcome our next ophthalmologist.  Candidates must be BC/BE and eligible for  medical licensure within Arizona.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
