Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Role:

As a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll serve our teams to quickly and accurately process payments in a timely manner while adhering to departmental procedures. You will be a valuable member of our Finance Team, supporting our efforts to build lasting relationships and deliver on our promises. We will appreciate your top-notch organizational skills, attention to detail, and team first attitude as you process payments and keep things moving for our Finance team. Sound like you? In this role, you will…

• Prepare and process payments for vendor invoices and other financial obligations in accordance with internal accounting policies. 
• Review purchase orders, prices, and terms of payment.
• Review statements and invoices to verify amounts owed.
• Effectively maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledger.
• Quickly respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in billings and payments.
• Process requests for employee expense reimbursements.
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Support and help train our accounts payable team and offer direction and additional support as needed.
