Inside Sales Representative

About the Role:    

As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be the go-to partner for customers who rely on DCS to keep their operations running. Your goal is simple (and impactful): build trusted relationships, solve real problems, and make DCS the first call for industrial spare parts.

You won’t be doing this alone. In this role you'll be reporting to the VP of Life Cycle & PMO, working closely with our Life Cycle sales team and Client Support Engineers to deliver smart, practical solutions that help customers feel supported and confident that DCS truly has their back. What you’ll be doing:

  • Own your book of business by executing sales plans that grow revenue and profitability
  • Turn opportunities into orders by understanding customer needs, interpreting technical requirements, and providing the right solutions
  • Prospect and develop new accounts through research, outreach, and relationship building
  • Prepare and deliver quotes, manage orders, and communicate timelines clearly to customers
  • Grow accounts by understanding buying history, recommending related or new products, and explaining technical features in plain language
  • Ask smart, operational-level questions to ensure customers are ordering what they actually need, then tap into DCS engineering expertise when needed
  • Partner with regional Life Cycle sales teams to jointly win and expand territory business
  • Work target lists through calls, emails, and creative outreach to open new doors
  • Coordinate with DCS warehousing teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
  • Keep everything organized and moving by updating activity and orders in Salesforce

  • You pick up new systems quickly and aren’t afraid to suggest smarter, more efficient ways of working
  • You have strong business instincts and understand what customers need to confidently approve projects
  • You’re a true team player who collaborates with peers and leverages collective strengths to better serve customers
