
Systems Administrator
About the Role
As a Systems Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting and optimizing DCS's IT infrastructure, business applications, and cloud-based systems. You'll partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, administer critical enterprise applications, support Microsoft 365 and Exchange environments, and help ensure reliable, secure technology solutions. From troubleshooting end-user issues to improving system functionality and documentation, you'll make a direct impact on the tools our teams rely on every day.
In this role, you will…
- Administer and support cloud-based business applications and enterprise software platforms.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Exchange, user accounts, licensing, and related services.
- Provide day-to-day administration of servers, network infrastructure, and core IT systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions that improve business operations.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot business applications while ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Manage user access, permissions, security groups, and application configurations.
- Respond to and resolve end-user IT support requests across hardware, software, and business applications.
- Assist with application enhancements, upgrades, testing, and implementation of new functionality.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, technical procedures, and user guides.
- Support IT security initiatives, system updates, and compliance with organizational standards.
What you bring…
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, IT Infrastructure, or Enterprise Application Administration.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Active Directory/Azure AD, and cloud-based business applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments, networking, user account management, and enterprise applications.
- Experience supporting end users in a corporate IT environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
Bonus if you have…
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, SharePoint Online, or Microsoft Teams administration.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience supporting network infrastructure, servers, backups, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Knowledge of scripting or automation using PowerShell or similar tools.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise business applications.
- Microsoft certifications (Microsoft 365, Azure, or related) are a plus.
