Job Description:
Role Overview
We’re looking for a driven, analytical, and fiercely competitive Sales Manager to take ownership of our US B2B distributor business. This is a high impact, highly rewarding role where you will be responsible for unlocking aggressive growth, elevating distributor performance, and expanding DESIGNME’s footprint across US markets.
The ideal candidate is a someone who has a hunter mentality, loves creating opportunity, and chases targets with intensity. You are passionate about the beauty industry, are a self-starting goal setter, and you possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
Reporting into the Director of Global Sales & Education, your key responsibilities are:
Drive Distributor Revenue & Market Growth
Own the full sales strategy for all US privately owned distributor partners, sub-distributors, and emerging territories
Build annual and quarterly revenue plans to deliver against aggressive growth targets
Hold distributors accountable for KPIs (purchases, sell-through, education, store performance and territory coverage)
Strengthen Field Execution & Accountability
Work directly with distributor sales consultants and store teams to increase brand share and expand presences
Build monthly action plans with distributors: training, activations, promotions, incentives, in-store execution
Routinely conduct market visits; in-field detailing, store days, salon eventing
Expand Footprint – New Door Acquisition
Proactively open high-value salons and key accounts that accelerate regional growth
Identify white space markets and execute go-to-market plans to win share from competitor brands
Lead Education & Marketing Alignment
Partner with the education team to strategize impactful classes and brand training that drive sell through
Align with marketing on promotion, campaigns, launches and local events to maximize impact in-market.
Forecasting, Reporting & Data-Driven Leadership
Submit accurate monthly, quarterly and promotional forecasts to support global inventory planning
Analyze territory performance, category opportunities and market shift to recommend strategic adjustments
Provide weekly reporting on wins, risks, competitive activity, and distributor performance
Build Strong Distributor Relationships
Position DESIGNME as a priority brand by cultivating top-level relationships
Influence buy-in across ownership, purchasing, education, sales leadership, and store operations
Address underperformance quickly and strategically – leading corrective action plans that produce results
What You Bring
3–5+ years in beauty, professional haircare, or CPG—preferably distributor-focused.
Proven success growing a territory or distributor business with measurable results.
Strong understanding of the professional distribution model (consultants, stores, promotions, education).
A hunter mentality: resilient, persistent, competitive, and results-obsessed.
Ability to travel 50–75% of the time across the US.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
High comfort with forecasting, analytics, and data-driven decision making.
