The Premium Intern will be responsible for assisting all Premium Sales & Service events and benefits throughout the year, updating internal Premium Sales & Service documents with new/renewed account information and assisting in the fulfillment/service of suite tickets and other Premium assets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Premium Service Intern position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following:
- Work closely with Premium Experiences Manager under the direction of the Director of Premium Services & Experiences to facilitate season long touch points
- Coordinate with the Premium Experiences Manager for fulfillment of single game suite/loge rentals, and suiteholder orders for all events held at Ford Field
- Comply with all departmental CRM guidelines to ensure information is accurate, deliverables are tracked and fulfilled, and account information is always up to date
- Create and update Premium Sales & Service trackers to ensure seamless communication across all departments
- Premium Concierge Program – tracking and fulfillment of tickets, events, communication and catering
- Assist in planning and executing all Premium Partner events and functions, including: Training Camp, Suite Tasting, Premium Partner Trips/Staycation, Premium Prospecting events, and other special receptions
- Assist in game day preparation for all premium accounts, collaboration with operations and gameday registration, setting up stations, check in tables, field passes, maps, photographers, catering, and confirmation of gifting, credentials and wristbands
- Analyze and propose new initiatives based on an understanding of industry market trends
- Game and event service of the North Side Terrace and Miller Lite Taproom suites
NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Will maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of Microsoft Office and of web tools and software being used
- Must be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Maintain professionalism when communicating with internal and external contacts
- Must be accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlines
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Will keep appropriate information confidential
- Will accept other responsibilities and duties required by the supervisor consistent with the objectives and essential functions of this position
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Business, or related field required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 1+ year of premium experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to connect with, and relate to, all levels of staff, management, clients, and vendors
- Ability to multi-task and effectively adjust to rapidly changing market and business conditions
- Demonstrated work ethic with an innate sense of urgency and tenacity
- Team oriented attitude, relationship building, professional demeanor and appearance
- Strong computer skills including experience with MS Office products, including but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook with the ability to learn new programs
- Strength in time management, administrative ability, organization, and customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- May require work out of both the Ford Field Management Office and the Meijer Performance Center
- A valid Driver’s License and good driving record
