Team Operations Associate

The Detroit Lions are on the hunt for a driven, detail-oriented, and football-passionate individual to join our team as a Team Operations Associate for the season! This position will support the coaching staff and team operations department with daily tasks pertaining, but not limited to the following:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Team Operations Associate position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following:
- General Administration Team & Coaching Operations
- Assist with day-to-day operations for the team
- Assist with home and road game logistics
- Assist with Ticket and Hotel requests during season
- Assist equipment during practice/player music
- Assist with the Teamworks system
- Assist with Rookie Transition Program
- Transportation/Shuttles
- Responsible for ordering and keeping inventory of office supplies for the coaching department
- Assist coaching staff with weekly opponent projects
- Create weekly coaching game book binders and workbooks for the players
- Assist in organizing and managing the coaches retreat
- Other duties as assigned/needed
NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a
- Maintain professionalism when communicating with internal and external
- Must be accurate and efficient with ability to meet
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational
- Must have the ability to gather and analyze information skillfully and develop solutions quickly and effectively.
- Will adjust work schedule to meet departmental
- Will keep appropriate information
- Will accept other responsibilities and duties required by the manager consistent with the objectives and essential functions of this position. Such responsibilities shall be incorporated into the position description if they are ongoing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior collegiate or professional football department experience required
- Bachelor’s (or greater) degree required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with all tasks
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work 40+ hours a week
- Ability to be discreet, trustworthy, and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
- Ability to develop working relationships across all levels of the organization
- Must be available to work nights and weekends, with ability to travel
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record are required and will be verified
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher, etc.), Adobe Photoshop, and Catapult
