About the Role
As a Customer Advocacy and Event Marketing Intern, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to automate and streamline customer engagement, celebrate our top advocates, and support the execution of impactful events. You’ll gain hands-on experience in advocacy campaigns, content creation, and event coordination while contributing to building stronger customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Advocacy
- Customer Engagement & Participation:
- Track customer participation levels in advocacy programs, analyze changes in engagement and provide engagement reports.Support outreach to customers for case studies, testimonials, and reviews, encouraging them to share their success stories.
- Monitor and respond to customer interactions on social media or community platforms to maintain engagement.
- Case Study Creation:
- Assist in drafting and editing case studies by compiling information from customer interviews or existing materials using AI and your own critical thinking.
- Organize and update case study templates to maintain consistent and up-to-date content, including the use of success metrics across cases.
- Customer Stories & Content Creation:
- Manage a centralized repository of customer stories, quotes, and assets for easy access by marketing and sales teams. Gather quotes, anecdotes, and other inputs from customer engagements to use in case studies, blog posts, and newsletters.
- Transform customer testimonials or case studies into bite-sized content for social media, email campaigns, and landing pages and collaborate with the social team to publish
- Creative Initiatives:
- Help brainstorm and implement creative ways to celebrate top advocates, such as virtual shoutouts or spotlight features.
- Coordinate customer-led social media takeovers to showcase their success stories.
- Collect feedback from customers after events or initiatives and ensure insights are shared with the team.
Event Marketing
Key Responsibilities
- Event Coordination & Execution
- Support event tasks for webinars, workshops, and roundtables.
- Set up and update landing pages for event communication and registration.
- Audience Engagement & Campaigns
- Assist in executing promotional campaigns on social media, email, and community platforms.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide insights for future improvements.
- Content Creation & Post-Event Activities
- Create promotional assets such as banners, posts, and event summaries from design templates.
- Consolidate event takeaways and feedback into engaging content for post-event promotions.
- Support in drafting nurture emails and feedback forms to maintain participant engagement.
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Execute post-event follow-up tasks that consist of handover leads to sales ops, send out thank you email + feedback forms, and marketing follow-ups/nurture.
- Assist in preparing post-event reports, including analyzing metrics and generating insights.
- Share key learnings and collaborate on ideas for future events.
Requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills with innovative ideas on automation.
- Understanding of metrics and use of analytical skills with a proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Interest in customer advocacy, event marketing, and social media trends.
- Basic familiarity with content creation tools and platforms (e.g., Canva, social media scheduling tools) is a plus.
