Job Description:

The Applied AI Engineering team at DevRev is responsible for architecting and building solutions that deliver the optimal experience for our customers. As customers progress through their DevRev journey, they may require integrations with enterprise systems, workflow automation, or custom enhancements to the platform.

As a Junior Applied AI Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to help design and implement integrations, automations, and AI-driven solutions. You will gain hands-on experience applying AI/ML techniques, coding, and building scalable solutions that enhance the customer experience, while receiving mentorship to grow your technical and problem-solving skills.

Objectives:

• Assist in designing, developing, and implementing integrations, automations, and customizations across DevRev and customers’ workflows.
• Apply AI techniques, including Generative AI and prompt engineering, under guidance from senior team members.
• Conduct basic data analysis, write SQL queries, and help build dashboards to share insights.
• Participate in cross-functional communication to ensure requirements and feedback loops are maintained.
• Learn new tools and assist in guiding customers through critical workflows.
  
  

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience (recent graduates welcome).
• Hands-on coding experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, APIs, Webhooks, and SQL.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts; familiarity with Generative AI and LLMs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Result-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for challenging work and growing as an engineer.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to vector databases, data embeddings, NodeJS, or Golang.Interest in customer-facing solutions and workflow automation.
