THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate, fearless self-starter to join us as an Associate Manager.
You will play a hybrid of a creative and strategic thinker who can formulate innovative approaches for clients in this role. You will be responsible for supporting and driving the agency’s client businesses and will serve as a strategic and creative counsel and agency custodian to clients and other relevant stakeholders. You will seamlessly integrate with the digital and creative teams to evolve the traditional strategic planning practices into the creative, brand-building digital world.
As part of the mid-level leadership team, you will play an integral role in shaping the organizational culture and providing strong leadership to team members. You will also be a part of the agency’s growth strategy – including new business pitching and agency product development and offerings.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive day-to-day client relationships and serve as a primary client counsellor
- Develop and support innovative regional digital communications strategies, including culture decoding of consumer behaviour and insights, crafting compelling brand narratives and integrated campaigns and creation of impactful, earned-led activations
- Identify and collaborate with digital and influencer platforms (TikTok, IG, etc.)
- Pitch to media/influencers and amplify client narratives
- Monitor media coverage and industry developments for client reporting and insights
- Provide quality control and guidance to junior team members for local market execution
- Participate in agency new business efforts (creds, planning input for pitches)
- Contribute to internal culture building and mentoring of junior staff
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-5 years’ experience in PR/Marketing, ideally in an agency environment
- Solid understanding of the earned and paid digital media space
- Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills
- A proactive team player who is detail-oriented and independent
- Effective leadership and mentoring skills
- Experience in the beauty and/or automotive sector is a plus
