Dev Technology Group is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support both Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and new development efforts for a federal government client. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the application of methodologies related to software lifecycle management and agile. What You'll Be Doing:

The Business Analyst shall ensure that the acceptance criteria is understood by the development team and serve as a liaison to the program’s Business Requirements team.

Business Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing updates to the TPA and collaborating with the O&M development team and PMO Contractors on updates to the TPA.
  • Completes meeting minutes for technical meetings and stores minutes and other agile documentation on appropriate documentation tools.
  • Assists the Contract PM and Government ITPMs with documenting, assigning, and closing action items.
  • Documents business processes flows and technical workflows.
  • Ensures technical documents and processes are successfully completed, updated, and stored (i.e. Logical design diagrams, ICAs, etc.)

Required Education, Experience, and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with eight (8) or more years of relevant business analyst
  • experience in an Enterprise software development environment, including experience in the application of methodologies related to software lifecycle management and agile.
  • Ability to work in a demanding and deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Agile development experience
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical, executive-level government officials
