Product Support & Design, AD Pillar Overview: 
The Product Support & Design Pillar is responsible for envisioning and crafting our digital interfaces and experiences, delivering integrated solutions to support the technical, product development, and operational strategies of our family office. Core functions include Engineering & Architecture, Front/Backend Programming, Product Development & AI Design, and Business Development & Customer Success. From conceptualization to execution, this pillar ensures the efficient development, deployment, and continuous enhancement of innovative products, while driving business growth, optimizing customer success strategies, and supporting the overall strategic objectives of the organization.

Position Summary: 
We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will help build the apps and experiences which bring the DFO’s mission to life. Partnering with a talented cross platform team, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment on a range of projects, including complex financial platforms and with leading-edge technology including automation and artificial intelligence.

Day-to-day responsibilities would include a combination of the following:
•    Partner with stakeholders and cross functional teammates to strategize and execute established goals from a user experience perspective. 
•    Design user interfaces for web and native mobile applications which adhere to established design standards.
•    Contribute to and maintain a robust design system and component library, update design documentation, and establish style guides.
•    Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas and user flows.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other designers, to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
•    Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
•    Utilize data analysis tools and user feedback to iterate on designs and improve user experience.
•    Stay current with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design and incorporate innovative approaches into your work.

•    Display consistent systems thinking and ability to defend design decisions while leveraging repeatable patterns across an ecosystem of products
•    Experience in the financial industry, such as designing research systems, trading systems, or similar platforms.
•    Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision and Axure.
•    Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing, and accessibility standards.
•    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven design decisions.
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile development environments.

Qualifications:
•    Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field.
•    Experience designing for AI-driven products or other advanced technologies is preferred.
•    Previous experience in both agency and in-house design roles is advantageous.
•    Experience with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or jQuery is a plus.
•    Familiarity with content strategy, interaction design, and rapid prototyping is a plus.
•    A passion for staying updated with the latest trends and innovations in UI/UX design.
