We are responsible for adding new contractors and government entities that are in search of candidates that require a US Security Clearance.

About the role:

As the Sales Director - Advertising and Branding, you will sell non-talent acquisition advertising and media to companies that play in the military/veteran space. You will own and manage your book of business by acquiring net-new clients and re-engaging inactive accounts. You will be doing discovery, demonstrations, and follow-up conversations with prospective clients to help find the right solutions that fit their overall needs.

Why we’re hiring for this role:

This role is an important part of our 2025 Go-To-Market strategy as we look for opportunities to expand our product offerings to businesses looking to advertise to our highly desirable and engaged audience.

What will happen once hired, you will:

  • Be a key individual contributor to driving advertising revenue, ready to hit the ground running with relevant brand and agency relationships with a quarterly sales quota.
  • Proactively build, maintain, and expand on sales targets, advertiser relationships, and sales opportunities.
  • Own the sales cycle from beginning to end; prospecting, identify opportunities, make the right connections, create sales proposals and presentations, respond to RFPs and ideate custom opportunities.
  • Represent the needs of the customer in any internal discussions regarding product innovation, measurement requirements, and customer service.

As you progress in the role, you will:

  • Oversee campaign management; reporting, optimization, upsell opportunities and billing.
  • Respond to RFPs and craft strategic annual upfront partnerships by working closely with account management, marketing, product and research teams.
  • Meet with and build relationships with senior level decision makers and media buyers at all levels.
  • Report on revenue projections/forecasts and provide in-depth daily and weekly updates to the VP Sales.

What you bring to the ClearanceJobs Sales team:

Required:

  • Strong understanding of B2C and B2B advertising and media and the role of Ad agencies in the buying process.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining a million-dollar plus book of business.
  • An active set of relationships with non-TA brand and agency buyers
  • A demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding goals in closing small, medium and large deals with key advertising partners and their respective agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to create relationships with internal collaborators across teams.
  • Fluency in the language of success behind performance marketing campaigns, including customer acquisition goals, retention, return-on-ad-spend or cost-per-acquisition media buying.
  • Ability to operate independently, multitask, juggle multiple projects and priorities, and thrive in uncertain environments.

Preferred:

  • Experience selling sponsorships and custom content integrations is a major plus.

Remote (US only) pay range: Base salary/pay plus commissions at 100% of plan targets. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities and experience.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
