General Purpose
About the Role:
The Content & Creative Strategy Manager is responsible for leading content strategy and creative development across Dice's B2B and B2C audiences. This role owns the planning, creation, and optimization of content across employer-facing and tech professional-facing channels, while partnering with Dice's creative resource to develop compelling creative that supports demand generation campaign initiatives.
The manager brings both strategic thinking and creative instinct to the role, ensuring content and creative work together to engage audiences, support pipeline goals, and advance Dice's brand. Reporting to the Director, Marketing B2B and B2C Demand Generation, this role works cross-functionally with Demand Generation, Brand, Product Marketing, and external partners to ensure content and creative output is aligned to business priorities and resonant with the audiences we serve.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation — B2B and B2C
- Lead the development and execution of content strategy across Dice's B2B (employer, recruiter, staffing) and B2C (tech professional) audiences, ensuring content is mapped to audience segments and stages of the buyer and user journey.
- Produce and manage content across formats including research reports, eBooks, blog content, webinar materials, email campaigns, and campaign copy.
- Oversee the Dice Career Advice blog, managing a roster of freelance writers from pitch through publication, maintaining editorial quality, publishing cadence, and distribution to email and social channels.
- Partner with the research and insights team to translate data and findings into compelling, audience-ready content assets.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure content is optimized for organic discovery and aligned with search best practices.
Creative Development
- Partner with Dice's creative resource to develop and produce creative assets supporting demand generation campaign initiatives across B2B and B2C channels.
- Contribute to creative concepting and briefing, ensuring campaign creative is grounded in content strategy and aligned to audience messaging.
- Serve as a connector between content, creative, and campaign execution, ensuring messaging and creative work together from brief to launch.
Brand Collaboration
- Act as a steward of Dice's brand voice across all content and creative executions, ensuring consistency in tone, messaging, and positioning.
- Collaborate with Brand team partners and external creative resources to maintain alignment between content output and broader brand strategy.
External Communications Support
- Serve as the internal day-to-day contact for Dice's external PR agency, providing direction on thought leadership opportunities, messaging priorities, and executive placement.
- Write and publish Dice press releases in partnership with marketing and communications stakeholders.
Performance & Optimization
- Track and analyze content performance across channels, identifying trends and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Contribute to content planning aligned to campaign calendars and demand generation goals.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Support ad hoc content, creative, and communications initiatives as needed.
Supervision
- Manages a roster of freelance writers and provides guidance to agency partners; does not have direct FTE people management responsibility.
Job Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
- Strong command of both B2B and B2C content strategy, with the ability to shift voice, format, and approach based on audience and intent.
- Creative instinct paired with strategic thinking, with an understanding of how content and creative work together to drive audience action.
- Strong editorial judgment, with experience managing freelance contributors or external content resources.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across creative, brand, demand generation, and product teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Clear, confident communicator — in writing, in meetings, and when presenting ideas to senior stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
Required Education and/or Experience
- Solid experience in content strategy, content marketing, or a related creative and communications discipline.
- Demonstrated experience developing content across both B2B and B2C audiences, ideally within a digital platform, marketplace, or technology-adjacent environment.
- Experience managing freelance writers, agency partners, or external creative resources.
- Hands-on experience with content management systems, email platforms, and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics/GA4).
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization.
- Experience supporting PR agency relationships or external communications is a plus.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Material and Equipment Directly Used
Requires the use of standard office equipment, including a desktop or laptop computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, telephone, and related software tools.
Working Environment / Physical Activities
Office environment; some travel may be required. Travel requires the ability to transport a laptop and related devices.
Denver pay range: Base salary/pay per year, plus 10% annual bonus at 100% of plan targets tied to company and individual performance. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
$100,000 - $135,000 USD
