DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring IT Summer Intern to join our team in Olathe, KS! You will have the opportunity to support the business systems that allow us to engage, educate, and transact with our customers. Team Members of the IS Department are responsible for the design, development, and delivery of solutions that resolve business issues.  They assist in the daily operations of existing business systems and implementation of new business systems. Responsible for providing support and maintenance of PC’s, mobile devices, and computer related equipment. 

This internship will also create an opportunity for potential future internships and/or permanent employment upon graduation! This is a great way to start your career!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide first level help desk support to users for software/hardware problems.
  • Assessment, troubleshooting, and routing of user submitted IT tickets.
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, printers, and peripheral equipment, following company best practices.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment at various sites.
  • Ability to work in a group environment and collaborate on work efforts and ideas.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and remotely diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot end-users with support for mobile devices
  • Prepare new systems for users and perform moves and set-ups in conjunction with personnel moves.
  • Assist with setup and troubleshooting of mobile devices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with end users to resolve issues.
  • Standard work hours are Monday-Friday 7:00a-4:00p or 8:00a-5:00p

Job Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
