Your role as a Software Developer

We are always on the lookout for passionate developers who are enthusiastic about making wellness accessible to everyone. Within one of our three major teams, whether it be member applications, healthcare professional applications, or client applications, you will help create the experience for all our users.

Whether you are designing mobile applications, web interfaces, or developing infrastructure/foundational systems, you will work collaboratively with your team, the product manager, and the user experience designer. Working within an agile framework, you will maintain a high level of quality by contributing to a culture with strong engineering values and objectives. You will emphasize rapid deployment cycles while adhering to best practices and conducting code reviews. Finally, you will work on the code and make a technical contribution.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Write and maintain one or more components of our unified healthcare solution. This includes a cutting-edge unified codebase for a React-Native mobile and web application, Python backend services that deliver a state-of-the-art conversational experience, and a web application that allows our professionals to communicate with their patients.
  • Understand the end-user issues as defined by the product manager.
  • Work on developing Frontend and Backend solutions in a Scrum team that delivers solutions and user journeys progressively.
  • Draft and review technical design documents.
  • Work as a team to improve your own technical skills and those of other team members. You will have the opportunity to work on different projects and different teams throughout your career at Dialogue, and we encourage internal mobility.

What you’ll bring to the team::

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • For frontend profiles, you should have experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, React Native, Expo or Node.
  • For full-stack and backend profiles, proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS services is important.
  • A B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in computer science or a related technical field is a plus.
  • A burning desire to make an impact while having fun solving complex challenges with your teammates!
