Manager, Sales Development
Your role as Manager, Sales Development
Reporting to Corey Klein, Director Revenue Operations, you'll lead our efforts in driving pipeline generation across Canada. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with sales leadership to set and execute strategies that will exceed our ambitious growth targets.
What You’ll Do
- Building & Leading a High-Performance Team: Recruit, hire, mentor, and develop a team of top-tier Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to achieve their full potential
- Performance Management: Lead initiatives around SDR performance, providing the coaching and feedback needed for continuous improvement
- Inspiring & Motivating: Foster a winning environment by motivating your team through regular feedback, sharing results, and creative incentives to keep the team energized
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside marketing and sales management to develop strategies that target new markets, geographies, and products
- Driving Execution & Transparency: Ensure top-tier execution of sales development strategies with a focus on accurate forecasting and open communication
- Operational Excellence: Partner closely with the Revenue Operations team to prioritize and implement process enhancements that improve operational efficiency across the sales organization
- Process Innovation: Design and refine business processes that will streamline operations and drive better results for the sales team
What You Bring
- Proven success in technology/services sales management, consistently exceeding objectives
- The ability to inspire and lead teams, motivating them to develop new skills and reach their goals
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively
- Hands-on experience with CRMs and sales tools
- Experience selling to HR, Operations, or Finance teams (a plus)
- Experience in the insurance and/or group benefits industry (a plus)
