Description
We are looking for a Health Educator with experience in women’s health and childbirth education to join our team to support the educational needs of a diverse group of women and their families. This role will manage our overall education program while also providing direct education to our clients, their loved ones, and others in the community. Our ideal candidate will enjoy working on a collaborative care team and be aligned with Diana Health’s values of empowering women and putting them at the center of decision making.
What you’ll do
Support organization of our Health & Childbirth Education program:
- Build out and maintain the Health Education calendar
- Manage sign-ups and communications to attendees before and after events
- Set up and take down supplies in the community space before and after events
- Solicit feedback on the program
Provide direct education via classes, support groups, expert talks, and 1:1 discussions:
- Lead relevant childbirth education classes, support groups, and expert talks
- Provide supplementary health education patients referred to our providers that need additional support through telehealth or in-person consultations
Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a relevant health and/or childbirth education role
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills; familiarity with Eventbrite and other relevant computer programs is preferred
- Childbirth Education certification or equivalent, ideal
