Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Accountant to join our growing organization. Requires flexibility, teamwork, ability to juggle multiple priorities, and attention to detail with accuracy under time constraints. Must have a working knowledge of payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger accounts.
What you’ll do:
- Timely and accurate completion of payroll processing
- Accounts payable entry and payment of invoices
- Communication with vendors.
- Monthly administrative invoicing and cash posting.
- Ensure complete and accurate routine reconciliations of cash, credit card liability and other balance sheet accounts as necessary.
- Assistance with month end close entries.
- Field and resolve inquiries.
- Assist in the administration of the company credit card program.
- Be a player in the year-end audit; reconciliations and documentation for use by external auditors.
- Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Two years’ experience and/or a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks assigned, while ensuring the accuracy of work and completion within designated deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Exhibit good decision-making skills and be a strong contributor to the accomplishment of goals and priorities.
- Be open to change to improve processes, strengthen controls and gain efficiencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare and revenue cycle management is a plus.
- Knowledge of OBGYN especially a plus.
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with Rippling is a plus
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred
