Description

Diana Health delivers a distinctive care experience for women across the life span, with a differentiated care program that helps women build an individualized care program that meets her needs. With a core promise to deliver whole health care, we believe that behavioral health is an integral part of a woman’s wellbeing - and infuse this focus across our clinical care programming - with an integrated behavioral health team of Psychiatric NPs and Therapists (LCSWs and LPCs) on staff to enable warm hand-offs as needed.

We are looking for a Part-time Behavioral Health Medical Director who is passionate about the intersection of women’s health and behavioral health and providing interdisciplinary, patient-centered care. 

This leader will set clinical standards, guide care model design and help us to build a scalable, evidenced based program.  Working through a lead PMHNP, who oversees daily operations, they will also serve as the supervising physician for our team of passionate behavioral health practitioners. 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and be an advocate for the overarching vision and design of the Diana Health behavioral health offering
  • Lead ongoing development of our behavioral health program, including - but not limited to - areas such as scope of practice, patient experience, and clinical protocols. 
  • Oversee the behavioral health team with the support of the Lead Psychiatric NP. 
    • Act as a supervising psychiatrist for our PMHNPs in licensed states and within licensure requirements
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN leadership and providers to grow our behavioral health services and ensure we are supporting our patients as best we can across life stages and conditions
  • Supporting our behavioral health team (i.e., LCSWs, and PMHNPs) in areas of their personal growth- e.g., efficiency, comfort with hard conversations with patients, managing a new program schedule, self care, etc.

Qualifications

  • Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry, with women’s health and/or perinatal experience preferred
  • At least two years of psychiatric clinical experience, with some level of clinical leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative OB-GYN and behavioral health practice with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient-centered - valuing patient preferences/choice, shared decision making, and a holistic approach to care
  • Active DEA license
  • Licensed to practice in FL, TX, and TN (or open to being licensed in these states)
  • Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary care team is preferred
