The Role:

We are looking for a leader of the technical team responsible for our products and solutions. You will play a crucial role on our leadership team in shaping the team, delivering on our goals, and building a smooth running organization.

This person will report to the CTO and work closely with the SVP of Product & Strategy, Data Manager, Product Managers, and other Digible department leaders. The ideal candidate understands the business impact of technical problems and excels at building relationships between technical teams and business stakeholders.

The role is primarily focused on people leadership grounded in technical expertise. It requires someone who can set up the systems and practices that elevate engineering execution across the organization -- someone who can jump in to solve problems, command an incident, or assess a technical decision when needed, but whose core responsibility is driving the overall effectiveness, alignment, and growth of the technical organization in close partnership with our Product and Agency leadership. This role requires a self-directed executor who aligns quickly with long-term goals and makes tangible, immediate improvements that bring the team along without slowing down progress. Someone who has a startup mindset, while building for the future.

You’ll love this job if you:

  • Have a customer-first mentality
  • Create high performing teams focused on solving business problems
  • Deeply care about your customer, partners, and stakeholders, deriving energy from building strong relationships where people love working with you and your team
  • Celebrate watching your team learn, grow, and succeed against ambitious goals
  • Enjoy digging into the technical details
  • Find new ways to increase your effectiveness such as integrating modern AI tooling into your own workflow, not just your team's

What you’ll do:

  • Build strong relationships with your stakeholders
  • Foster a customer focus and Product Mindset within the team
  • Mentor and coach a team of 7 engineers, facilitating and championing their growth
  • Lead a significant team expansion, scaling headcount by 80% over the next year and strengthening our management team
  • Ensure successful delivery against the team’s commitments
  • Organize and oversee key projects
  • Influence technical designs and ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Drive organization-wide improvements to our process and engineering culture including operational and quality best practices

What you should have:

  • 8-10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in management roles
  • Demonstrable ability to adapt to dynamic environments
  • Experience to know what "great" looks like for a technical organization, and wisdom to know the most important next steps to get us there
  • Proven track record in leading product engineering teams and collaborating effectively with Product Managers and Designers
  • Strong management skills, with experience in hiring and performance management
  • Outcome-oriented approach, aligning team happiness with business outcomes
  • Ability to identify and focus on areas of greatest impact for the team and business
  • Excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence; adept at adapting style to different audiences
  • Experience with software design and architecture, with the ability to anticipate and proactively address potential issues with proposed designs

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

This role is open to candidates located within the United States.

Pay, perks, and such:

  • Salary Range: $185,000 - $220,000
  • 4-Day Work Week (32 Hour Work Week)
  • WFA (Work From Anywhere)
  • Profit Sharing Bonus
  • We offer 3 weeks of PTO as well as Sick leave, and Bereavement
  • We offer 11 paid holidays
  • 401(k) + Match
  • 75% employer paid health benefits (Medical, Dental, and Vision)
  • We offer $75/ month reimbursement for Physical Wellness
  • We offer $75/ month reimbursement for Mental Wellness
  • $1000/year travel fund for employees who have been with Digible 3+ years
  • Dog-Friendly Office
  • Paid Parental Leave

HEADS UP! We believe in transparency throughout our hiring process. To help us ensure a great fit, we'll ask you to share a few professional references during the hiring process who can speak to your experience and skills. We’ll also ask how you think your references will respond to our questions about your experience and skills, and then we'll close the loop by following up directly with your references to confirm the details. It’s all part of our commitment to open, honest communication and our core values: Focus, Authenticity, Humility, Curiosity, and Happiness.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
