ABOUT THE ROLE...

We’re looking for an experienced HR Operations Manager to join our team and report directly to our Sr. Director, HR. In this role, you’ll own the day-to-day people operations and employee experience, from onboarding and manager support to performance conversations, payroll, benefits, and compliance.

You’ll be someone who enjoys making things work better — simplifying processes, solving problems, and finding ways to use technology and AI to make the employee experience easier and more seamless.

This role requires limited to no travel.

WHAT YOU WILL DO…

  • Keep UKG accurate and up to date as our source of truth for people data, covering everything from new hires to role changes, compensation updates, and offboarding.
  • Own the employee onboarding experience from start to finish.
  • Own the administration of our annual review in UKG.
  • Be a go-to resource for employees and cross-functional partners across Payroll, Finance, Legal, IT, and Recruiting, responding to questions with accuracy, care, and a focus on getting to the right answer.
  • Manage people analytics and reporting in UKG.
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to create connected, scalable people processes that can grow with the company.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, open enrollment, and compliance across our global employee base, using UKG to automate and simplify processes wherever possible.
  • Manage our EOR relationship with Deel and help ensure our international employee processes run smoothly.
  • Support employment verifications and other employment-related documentation.
  • Look for ways to continuously improve the employee experience by tracking operational metrics, identifying gaps, and turning those insights into better processes.
  • Be a thought leader in using AI and automation to reduce repetitive administrative work, improve accuracy, and create a better employee experience.
  • Bring people operations work currently handled by external partners in-house when it makes sense, building simple, scalable processes that work for a growing global team.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR…

  • 7+ years of experience in people operations or HR, ideally in a high-growth startup or similar environment where you’ve helped build and scale processes as the company grows.
  • Experience with our internal survey tool Culture Amp is a plus.
  • Strong UKG expertise across HRIS, payroll, benefits, devices, and system access, along with the ability to work with data and turn it into useful operational insights.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills. You can explain a benefits renewal, payroll change, or HR process to anyone and make it feel straightforward.
  • A genuine interest in building better systems and creating a seamless employee experience, particularly through AI and automation.
  • A high bar for accuracy and attention to detail. You care about getting the details right, especially when it comes to employee data and payroll.
  • A practical, problem-solving mindset. You’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves, figuring things out, and making things better rather than waiting for the perfect process to already exist.

Benefits:

    • Comprehensive Benefits Including Medical, Dental, Vision, & Retirement Savings Plan
    • Restricted Stock Units
    • Flexible Paid Time Off & Holidays
    • Life Insurance
    • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
    • Mentorship Opportunities
    • Training & Development

Compensation:

$120,000 - $150,000
This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set, experience, training, licensure, certifications, geography and other business and organizational needs.
