ROLE HEADLINE: The Field Marketing Associate is responsible for holistic sales growth across all channels & brand awareness within Dig Inn’s emerging markets. With a keen focus on community building and awareness drivers, this role will drive long term business success through events, partnerships, fundraisers, guest touch points and much more in order to make Dig Inn a well known household name within the markets we operate in.  

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

Dig Inn Restaurant Group is searching for a skilled Field Marketing Associate who will plan and execute community events to build brand awareness and attract new guests. You will develop partnerships with local schools, businesses, residential buildings, and community groups to drive guest growth in emerging markets to facilitate long term sales building and awareness. As a collaborative marketer, you will team up with various departments across the organization to achieve business objectives and analyze performance metrics. This is a hybrid position that will require you to work on-site at our restaurants, traveling across the Northeast region on a weekly basis.

In this role, you will collaborate with several teams at Dig Inn, including Marketing, Operations, and others, to represent Dig Inn at local community events to introduce the brand and acquire new guests, and will confidently approach local community groups to build relationships and explore creative partnerships that will lead to guest acquisition and brand building opportunities. The Field Marketing Associate's success will be determined by revenue growth, establishing strong relationships with field team members, identifying promising new partnerships, and providing exceptional guest service at every touchpoint. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the FIeld Marketing Associate will work on hyper-local strategic initiatives to drive growth and performance in emerging markets.

YOU WILL: 

  • Build local marketing plans for emerging markets including a target list of events, partners, and businesses in your focus market. Establish relationships with key contacts (schools, hospitals, residential buildings, fitness studios, local businesses, and community groups) to drive awareness of Dig Inn and acquire new guests.
  • Own & drive the success of new restaurant openings by executing local marketing activations, coordinating community outreach, and driving awareness to generate guest traffic from day one.
  • Maintain an active onsite presence within all restaurants within your emerging market region in order to capitalize on connections and foster revenue generating ideas with the operations teams. 
  • Represent Dig Inn in the community by executing sponsorships, table sampling at local events, and pop-ups that introduce new guests to our food.
  • Coordinate with restaurant leaders to bring revenue-driving initiatives to life and support their efforts to grow traffic and loyalty.
  • Support regional brand partnerships and activations that create awareness and bring new guests into Dig Inn restaurants.
  • Collaborate with marketing agency partners by briefing requests for new marketing assets to support your events and partnerships.
  • Partner with Business Development Associates to uncover and activate partnerships that drive guest acquisition, catering sales, and new revenue streams.
  • Test, measure, report, and optimize tactics based on business and brand objectives.

YOU HAVE:

  • 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience (field marketing, events, sales, etc.)
  • Proven project management and communication skills.
  • Strong ownership and pride in your work - you aim for impact and you have a passion for results. 
  • The ability to work at a strategic level, but you’re equally as happy getting your hands dirty.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to engage with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
  • Amazing interpersonal, client-facing communication skills that you love to show off on a daily basis.
  • Never-say-die attitude to finding the right person, establishing the right connection, attending the right event, etc.
  • The ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities at a given time.
  • A desire to never stop learning - both personally and professionally.
  • Curiosity about the world, food, and people
  • Must be based or willing to commute to the Philadelphia or New York City markets 
  • An active driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle preferred
  • Must be willing to travel 50% of the time

COMPENSATION:

Salary Range: $60,000-70,000/year

Our salary ranges are rooted in the desire to pay competitively relative to our organization size and industry, reflecting just one part of the total compensation package;  additional components include a bonus potential, healthcare benefits, various work perks (commuter benefits, free lunch) as well as opportunities for continued growth at Dig Inn.

Individual compensation decisions are determined by factors that include current market location, skills-based qualifications, prior work experience, and balancing internal equity relative to other Dig Inn employees. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at Dig Inn to fall healthily within the ranges based on these factors
