About the role:

The CX Solution Design Lead is a player-coach, guiding a focused group of consultants while directly contributing to the success of our clients' Canton Network implementations.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the day-to-day execution of a focused team of CX consultants and solution designers, and manages performance formally and informally to ensure growth
  • Acts as the bridge between tactical priorities and front-line client execution, ensuring that core advisory and software delivery processes are followed
  • Breaks down client project priorities into clear individual goals and actionable delivery plans; manages the team's capacity and workload effectively
  • Balances direct individual contribution (client advisory and product design) with people management responsibilities
  • Creates and reviews high-quality business analysis and functional requirements using UML diagrams, user stories, and Gherkin scenarios
  • Delivers CX professional services to clients, and leads workshops, focus groups, and research initiatives to deeply understand customer needs
  • Educates clients and the team about the Canton Network, teaching the in-depth details of privacy-enabled blockchains
  • Manages day-to-day client relationships for the duration of project engagements, handling client-facing support, and resolving issues
  • Owns project management and Agile governance activities (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) for active engagements
  • Provides grounded upward feedback to leadership based on front-line reality, identifying tactical risks in Canton Network implementations early

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years experience in product development or application development management, including hands-on and active business analysis experience
  • 2+ years experience in  direct people management or formal team leadership experience
  • 7+ years experience in Agile ways of working with solid understanding of best-in-class enterprise software development and delivery practices
  • Knowledgeable of the emerging fintech and blockchain domain, with attention to smart contract-based initiatives
  • Outstanding client relationship skills with the ability to establish oneself as a trusted, empathetic advisor
  • Strong analytical skills, including attention to detail, and the ability to design complex processes and workflows from the ground up
  • Ability to articulate how specific technology designs align to a business case
  • Ability to facilitate design sessions with a client and drive the creation of prioritized implementation roadmaps
  • Experience and strong capability in working collaboratively with and granting transparency to internal and external teams
  • Strong project management or program management skills, with thorough, meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. 
  • Adaptable and dynamic problem-solver who relishes challenges in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the financial services or capital markets domain
  • BS or MS in Computer Science

The range below may vary if based outside the New York tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut). Base salaries are determined during our interview process, during which we assess the candidate's experience, skills, and capabilities against internal peers and the scope and responsibilities of the position.

$152,000 - $185,000 USD
