What is the Role:

The Associate, Financial Analysis  will be responsible for supporting all DCG’s financial modeling and general financial analysis needs. We are looking for a process and systems-oriented professional to ensure that all forward-looking financial forecasts and budgets are accurate and timely. This person will maintain several key relationships across the organization including peers and senior stakeholders. The role will involve financial modeling, and supporting complex financial transactions, enterprise-wide capital planning and various other strategic initiatives with DCG’s wholly owned Subsidiaries and investing business.

This person will be a hands-on contributor who excels at sharing ideas and finding solutions. Must love the unique combination of a casual environment that moves at lightning speed. This candidate will report to the Manager of Financial Analysis while working in closely the entire finance organization and each of DCG’s wholly owned subsidiaries. This role will give the right candidate an intimate look at the inner workings of a company at the helm of its industry.

 

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Perform modeling / analyses on our capital structure including the structures of our subsidiaries
  • Perform modeling / analyses with respect to liquidity, capital structure / access to capital, for DCG and its subsidiaries
  • Assist with our annual budget process, which includes working with our various subsidiaries and divisions. Compile annual budget and periodic re-forecast for DCG incorporating both the investing business and its wholly-owned subsidiaries
  • Conduct in-depth analyses on budget vs. actual performance across the enterprise, capital optimization, market research and other related items as needed.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packs for both DCG’s C-suite and its Board of Directors
  • Model and analyze a wide array of potential transactions and investments and their potential impact to DCG and its shareholders
  • Support valuation & return-related analyses on DCG and its investments/subsidiaries
  • Support potential future debt and/or equity capital raising efforts

 

What You’ll Bring:

Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting preferred
  • Minimum 2 – 4 years of Investment Banking, Corporate Finance / FP&A, Corporate Strategy / Business Development or other related crypto/financial services experience required
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong financial modelling skills
