Today, DCG sits at the epicenter of the industry, backing more than 200 blockchain-related companies in over 35 countries. DCG also invests directly in digital currencies and other digital assets.

We passionately believe digital currency and blockchain technology will drive global economic and social change. Our unique model enables us to deploy our resources to build over the long term.

What is the Role:

We are looking for someone to help drive DCG’s liquid-token investing efforts in the US, reporting to the Head of Liquid Token Investments. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the crypto landscape, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of end-to-end leadership in liquid token investments, including sourcing, analyzing, and managing positions in publicly traded digital assets, tokens, and related market opportunities.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Identify and evaluate liquid token investment opportunities across crypto markets, including spot tokens, protocols, DeFi, layer-1/layer-2 ecosystems, and emerging digital assets; lead the full investment process from sourcing and initial analysis through due diligence, investment committee presentations, and coordination with legal/compliance on structuring and execution.
  • Stay deeply current on key trends, market dynamics, tokenomics, on-chain data, macroeconomic/regulatory developments, and sentiment drivers in crypto (with a focus on the US market), while anticipating, researching, and mapping new opportunities in fast-evolving sectors.
  • Manage, grow, and maintain a robust network of relationships with token projects, protocol teams, exchanges, market makers, liquidity providers, other liquid funds, and key industry participants to source high-conviction ideas and stay at the forefront of liquid crypto markets.
  • Test, measure, and iterate on alternative sourcing channels for liquid opportunities, including on-chain analysis, secondary markets, OTC desks, launchpads, and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Collaborate with DCG's post-investment and platform teams to monitor portfolio token performance, provide value-add insights (e.g., market positioning, liquidity strategies), and support ecosystem growth where applicable.
  • Contribute to building DCG's brand in liquid crypto markets through thought leadership, PR initiatives, event participation, and raising our profile among traders, protocols, and institutional participants.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (finance, economics, business, computer science, engineering, or related field); advanced degree or CFA/equivalent a plus.
  • 4–8 years of relevant experience in crypto markets, ideally with direct involvement in liquid token investing, trading, research, or portfolio management (crypto hedge fund, proprietary trading, market-making, or token-focused investment roles strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of crypto market structures, tokenomics, on-chain metrics, liquidity dynamics, and price drivers; prior experience analyzing and investing in liquid digital assets required.
  • Demonstrated passion for crypto; prior hands-on experience in DeFi, trading, fintech, or related blockchain ecosystems a plus.
  • Established network in liquid crypto markets (e.g., with protocols, exchanges, funds, or builders) and proven ability to build and manage high-value relationships.
  • Ability to quickly learn emerging trends, synthesize complex information, and stay ahead in a fast-paced, 24/7 market environment.
  • Analytical mindset with strong quantitative skills; comfort with on-chain data tools, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Self-directed, efficient, and able to operate independently while being collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Open-minded yet decisive in high-uncertainty environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written (research reports, memos) and verbal (presentations, investment discussions).

What We Offer:

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
